Special type of aerotherapy is air bath. Therapeutic effect of this method of climatotherapy is based on dosed cooling of organism. It improves thermoregulation, increases resistance to the impact of low temperatures, i.e. conditions the body to the cold. Increased concentration of oxygen in the air improves oxidative processes in the body's tissues. They are profitable for all people, who suffer from lung diseases, cardiovascular and nervous system disorders.

Heliotherapy is the use of solar energy. Sun baths are a strong and preventive factor and thus they require strict dosing. They should only under strict medical supervision. The main factor of solar radiation is ultraviolet radiation. It helps to increase efficiency and resistance to infectious diseases.

Thalassotherapy is a combined application of air- and heliotherapy. Thalassotherapy trains temperature control system, activates pulmonary ventilation, improves the tone of the body.

Balneotherapeutics is based on the use of mineral waters that form in the bowels of the earth under the influence of various geological processes. They differ from fresh water by its composition and physical properties. Mineral water contains different salts in their ionized forms, biologically active elements, etc.
