Vacation death - the most dangerous marine killers
There are a lot of dangers waiting for tourists in the sea.
The Red Sea is quite dangerous: sharks, electric rays, and other carnivorous or poisonous representatives of underwater fauna can be found there.
In other seas and oceans, on the islands of the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Ocean dangerous fishes and animals are present in large quantities and actually live side by side with holidaymakers.
Usually, while talking about dangers of the sea, people immediately recall predatory sharks, huge whales and giant octopuses, which pull fishermen to the bottom of the sea. But these mythical creatures are not real; danger is hidden in those creatures which don't look like monsters. They can be small, unremarkable, or even beautiful and attractive, but at the same time fatally dangerous. They are much more dangerous, than sharks and are widely spread.
Scientists know more than 500 species of venomous fish, 93 species of poisonous animals, 91 poison shellfishes and 26 echinoderms. They mostly do not attack themselves, but they are easily encountered in the coastal zone, on the beach or while diving.
Thus pay attention to everything outstanding and unremarkable, follow safety rules, do not touch those representatives of flora and fauna, which are unfamiliar to you. Ask the hotel employees, what you should beware of in the coastal resort strip, where you spend your vacation.
